April 28, 2011: Participated in and co-organized this year's one-day conference of the Montréal Local-Global Research Group.  This year's theme: Canadian Small and Medium Size Enterprises Going Global.

May 2010: published a column in the Financial Post on sustainability initiatives, drawing on my research in the public transit industry. Read the article.

April 2010: co-organized the 2010 conference of the Montreal Local-Global Research Group.  The theme of this year's event was: Canadian international companies doing business in developing and emerging countries.

October-December 2009: had a series of conversations with Eva Halus from Accent Montreal about local-global dynamics and environmental management.  The conversations were published as a series in issues #31, #32, and #36.  See WebLog* for the texts (in Romanian).

November 2009: opening of AEPHDA-UQAM-Espace Arts, where I exhibited photography work, along with five other artists.

September 2009: co-organized the North American debut of Giotto & Anca -- two contemporary Romanian artists, showing their oil paintings at Nota Bene Art Gallery in Montreal.
