Cata Ratiu (PhD, Concordia University, Montréal) is Associate Professor of Strategic Management at California State University San Marcos. His research examines business and corporate strategies in the social, natural, and global environments with specific focus on the intersection of sustainability and international strategies. Cata is an award-winning scholar, having published over twenty papers in scholarly outlets, including the Academy of Management Review, Critical Perspectives on International Business, International Journal of Business Strategy, International Journal of Human Resource Development and Management, Management International, World Journal of Science, Technology and Sustainable Development. He coauthored a book investigating the role of multinational corporations in emerging economies along with numerous book chapters and conference papers and has over ten years experience in business and legal consulting for corporate and nonprofit organizations in Europe and North America. He has previously taught at the universities Concordia (Canada), DHBW (Germany), EDHEC (France), McGill (Canada), and Western Kentucky (USA).
